Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Feeding Therapy, & Infant Development Services in Maryland

WELL-Nurtured in Maryland is a satellite branch of WELL-Nurtured Development, created to expand access to specialized pediatric occupational therapy services throughout Maryland.

We provide in-home and virtual services for families in Howard County, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Anne Arundel County, and surrounding areas, offering individualized support that meets children where they are.

Our Services

Pediatric Occupational Therapy:

We support children in developing foundational skills needed for every day life.

Areas of focus may include:
● Sensory processing and regulation
● Daily life and self-care skills (dressing, feeding, handwriting, etc.)
● Gross and fine motor development
● Play and social participation
● Executive functioning (organization, planning, problem-solving, etc.)
● Self-regulation strategies

Infant and Early Childhood Development:

We support infants and young children during the most important stages of development through specialty therapeutic services. We follow a family-centered approach, so we prioritize caregiver coaching and education so that you are involved in your child’s care.

Services include:
● Infant massage
● Gentle bodywork
● Caregiver-child bonding support
● Sleep promotion strategies
● Co-regulation and self-regulation strategies
● Developmentally appropriate play
● Parent coaching and education

We also provide treatment and support for concerns such as developmental delays, head shape differences, torticollis, sensory processing challenges, neurodivergent development (including ASD, Down syndrome, etc.), and beyond.

Feeding Therapy:

Our feeding therapy services help children and families navigate mealtimes with greater confidence.

We address concerns such as:
● Picky or selective eating
● Oral-motor skill challenges
● Coughing, gagging, or choking during meals
● Sensory challenges with food
● Difficulty with mealtime routines

Groups, Classes, & Family Support

In addition to individual therapy services, we offer classes, workshops, and support groups designed to educate and empower families while building community.

Offerings include but are not limited to:

● Infant Massage Classes
● Nurtured Beginnings prenatal and postnatal education series
● Tummy Time Groups
● Infant and Toddler Free-Play Groups
